Who should get certfied

According to EN 15038, a translation service provider is either an individual or a company/organisation who provides translation services.

The LICS® certfifcation process has specificially been designed to meet the requirements of small and medium sized entities. It is a lean process leaving unneccessary paperwork out and limiting the time to be spent by an auditor on-site to a minimum.

LICS® EN 15038 certification is thus feasible for

• translation agencies (without internal translators),
• translation companies (with employed translators),
• individual translators.
