Who should get certified?

Community interpreting is bi-directional interpreting that takes place in the course of communication among speakers of different languages.

The LICS® certification process has been designed specifically to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized interpretation service providers (ISPs).

LICS® CISP certification is therefore suitable for:

• interpretation agencies (without internal interpreters),
• interpretation companies (with employed interpreters).
